OUR SAN FRANCISCO LOFT
Updated: Nov 16, 2022

We have been living in San Francisco for a little over two years now and I finally got some photos taken of our apartment. Our space is very unique. It is 1250 square feet which is pretty large for an apartment in San Francisco, but it is technically only a studio/1 bedroom since it doesn’t have walls/doors separating the space. When we first saw the space we loved the tall windows and ceilings which allowed in a lot of natural light but we were unsure about the layout. After seeing all the rental options, we were debating between out current space and 1 other, which was beautiful but half the size, literally 600 square feet. As you may know, rentals don’t last long in San Francisco, so we were at the airport heading back to our previous home in San Diego and only had till the end of the day to make a decision. I started sketching out the space on a napkin (at the bar waiting for our flight) and came up with a layout which would allow us to have a living/dining area, master bedroom, guest bedroom, office/storage room (which is now Mason’s nursery, details coming soon!) and a fun sitting area which we use for people watching while having our coffee or happy hour! So here it is, Our San Francisco Loft!
